Admission to Notre Dame is based on five criteria:

The applicant’s successful completion of the 8th grade.
The applicant’s expressed positive desire to attend Notre Dame.
A minimum grade point average of 2.5 in solid academic subjects in the two years prior to attending Notre Dame.
Satisfactory performance on the Placement Test.
Evaluations from Math and English teachers and school administration.

Priority is given to applicants graduating from Catholic schools, to children of Catholic families, to children of Notre Dame Alumnae, and to siblings of Notre Dame Alumnae.

Notre Dame High School admits students of any race, color, national and/or ethnic origins to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
