Through summer enrichment opportunities and immersive school-year experiences, Notre Dame High School empowers students to explore their interests, grow in faith, and prepare confidently for college and beyond. These programs reflect our belief that learning happens everywhere, in classrooms, on campuses, in community, and through meaningful experiences.
Summer programs are a great way to spend time off from school while exploring academic interests, personal growth, and future college opportunities. Students can travel to new places, visit college campuses, meet new friends, gain hands-on experience in fields of interest, earn college credit, and embark on life-changing journeys.
There are thousands of enrichment programs available across the United States and around the world, including Europe, Asia, South America, Central America, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. Programs vary widely and may include college credit courses, internships, business institutes, community service projects, cultural immersion opportunities, and study-abroad experiences. Many are hosted on college and university campuses, offering students an early glimpse into college life.

At Notre Dame High School, enrichment is not limited to summer months. As a Catholic, all-girls school, we are committed to providing immersive learning experiences that nurture faith, community, leadership, and intellectual curiosity throughout the school year.
Immersion Week is a cornerstone of our experiential learning model, designed to complement academic studies with real-world exploration.
Seniors participate in internships aligned with their interests and future goals.
Juniors engage in a week-long college immersion experience, visiting multiple college campuses, learning about admissions and financial aid, meeting alumnae, and gaining clarity about post-secondary options.
Freshmen & Sophomores participate in The Retreat, a transformative experience focused on faith, reflection, community building, and personal growth.
The Retreat offers students a unique opportunity to step away from daily routines and distractions and engage more deeply with themselves, their peers, and their faith. Held off campus in a supportive and secure environment, the retreat includes:
Daily Mass and guided reflection
Time in nature
Community-building and team activities
Recreation, rest, and fun
A screen-free environment that encourages presence and connection
This experience strengthens the special bond of our all-girls community and helps students develop confidence, empathy, and a deeper sense of belonging at Notre Dame.
Families contribute toward the cost of this experience, with opportunities for fundraising support to offset expenses. Safety, supervision, and student well-being are our top priorities, with NDHS staff and professional camp personnel present at all times.
